The BS National Beehive offers everything you need to set up a strong and productive hive for your bees. This unassembled hive kit includes all the necessary components to get started with beekeeping, including wooden frames and wired wax foundation for both the brood and super boxes. Ideal for beekeepers who want a durable, high-quality hive with plenty of space for the colony to grow and thrive.

Hive Includes:

• 1 x Roof: A flat roof complete with breather vents and a robust galvanized steel cover, providing ample ventilation while protecting the hive from weather elements.
• 1 x Varroa Mesh Floor: The Varroa mesh floor comes with a twin setting entrance block for effective pest control and ensuring proper airflow. (Note: There is no inspection drawer included in this model.)
• 1 x Brood Box: Includes built-in wooden frame runners to accommodate the frames, providing a comfortable and well-structured environment for brood rearing.
• 2 x Super Boxes: Two super boxes with built-in wooden frame runners that offer ample space for honey storage, allowing your bees to work efficiently.
• 1 x B.S National Crown Board: The crown board creates a barrier between the brood area and the honey supers, providing better control over the hive and minimizing disturbance.
• 1 x Plastic Queen Excluder: A plastic queen excluder is included to ensure that the queen is kept in the brood box and does not lay eggs in the honey super.
• 10 x Brood Frames and Foundation Sheets: Ten brood frames with wired wax foundation sheets are included to support the colony’s brood rearing and growth.
• 20 x Super Frames and Foundation Sheets: Twenty super frames with wired wax foundation sheets, offering plenty of space for honey storage and ensuring the bees can fill the supers with honey efficiently.

This hive comes unassembled, allowing you to easily put it together, giving you control over your beekeeping setup.

For best results and to enhance the lifespan of your hive, we recommend that you externally treat your hive before use, especially if you are placing it in an area with harsh weather conditions.
